If you only travel by bus, tram and train in the GVH from time to time, you can use our one-way tickets and other products. These are perfect for visitors and tourists of the Hanover region. Here you can get an overview of our range of tickets for occasional travelers and thus always find the right ticket!

  • Day ticket

    With the Day ticket you can use the buses, trams and trains as often as you like within the GVH tariff area – until 05:00 a.m. of the following day. In most cases it is already advantageous if you even only plan two rides such as a return journey.

  • 6 trip Day ticket

    The Day ticket is also available in a pack of 6 at an even more favourable price. You can save 20 % per ticket. The 6 trip Day ticket is available for one (A, B or C), two (AB or BC) or three zones (ABC). One ticket is valid for as many journeys you like in the buses, trams and trains within the chosen zone of the GVH tariff area – until 05:00 a.m. of the following day.

  • Day ticket for groups up to 5 persons

    If you travel with friends or family, the Day ticket for groups up to 5 persons might be the best solution. The more people attend the journey, the more money can be saved by everyone. Instead of a person you can as well travel with maximum one dog.

  • Day ticket for groups up to 10 children

    If teachers travel with their pupils from 1. to 8. class level or with groups of children aged between 6 and 14, it is worth purchasing a Day ticket for groups up to 10 children. It is valid for max. 10 children and costs 20,80 euros. The more children attend the journey, the more favorable the price for each one. When using the Day ticket for groups up to 10 children, an adult accompanying person (with an own ticket) must be present. The ticket may not be used for taking pets.

  • Day ticket for children

    With the Day ticket for children (aged 6 to 14) you can travel from early in the morning until late in the evening within the GVH tariff area by bus, tram or train – as often and as far as you like at a very attractive price! Furthermore the Day ticket for children is valid as well for a dog.

  • Single ticket

    The Single ticket enables you to travel and change up to two hours by bus, tram or train in the same direction within the GVH tariff area. Return and round trips are not possible. The ticket is available for one (A, B or C), two (AB or BC) or three zones (ABC).

  • 6 trip Single ticket

    The Single ticket is as well available as 6 trip package – this way you can save on average more than 10 % per journey. The 6 trip Single ticket is available for one (A, B or C), two (AB or BC) or three zones (ABC). It is valid for up to two hours for all buses, trams and trains in the selected area of validity in the GVH tariff zone. Within the selected zone, it is possible to change in the same direction of travel. Return and round trips are not possible. Please note that the area of validity is already printed on the 6 trip Single ticket in paper form.

  • Single ticket for children

    Children travel particularly low priced. With the Single ticket for children (aged 6 to 14) you can travel for two hours with all buses, trams and trains within the GVH tariff area (zones ABC) and even change the line in the same driving direction. Return and round trips are not possible. Furthermore the Single ticket for children is also valid for a dog. By the way: If you are under the age of 6, you can use the buses, trams and trains of the GVH for free when you are accompanied.

  • Short trip ticket

    If the distance to your destination is short, the Short trip ticket is possibly the right solution for you. It enables you to travel five stops by bus or three stops by tram in the same direction. You can as well change. Return and round trips are not possible.

    If you have a DB ticket for long-distance journeys at a "Super Sparpreis" tariff, you can obtain the additional City mobile ticket for the GVH journey from the station to your final destination directly at the Deutsche Bahn. City mobile is valid within the GVH in zone A.

  • Interconnected mobility Lower Saxony tariff

    If you travel with a ticket within the Lower Saxony tariff, the ticket for your GVH connection within the tariff zone of the destination station is included for free. This way you buy a ticket for the buses and trams within GVH zone A in the same time.
