3G rule in buses and trams

3G rule applies in buses and trams

From Wednesday, 24 November – start of operation, the 3G rule applies for all passengers in buses and trams of the Hanover transport companies ÜSTRA and regiobus according to the new Infection Protection Act.

This means that only passengers will be transported, who are either vaccinated against the Corona virus, recovered from Corona virus, or tested negative for the Corona virus. Passengers are asked to carry a proof either in hard copy or electronic format on the smartphone. The security personnel of the transport companies will make regular random checks concerning the compliance with the 3G rule – as previously the compliance with the mandatory use of face masks.

The obligation to wear a FFP2 mask or a medical face mask in buses and trams and in stations still applies.
