Help at the push of a button

In the tunnel stations of the city trams, at many above-ground stations and at most of the suburban train stations you can find emergency call and information pillars with an emergency call button. When you push it, you are immediately connected with an employee of the traffic control centre or the "3-S-Zentrale". Don't hesitate to release an alarm - even if the situation seems not that critical to you. You should press the emergency call button if

  • you notice smoke or fire
  • someone suddenly collapses or becomes ill unexpectedly
  • someone is being molested or threatened
  • an accident occurs
  • you notice willful destruction
  • the safety of passengers is threatened

If it is not particularly urgent, please push the green information button of the emergency call and information pillar - for example if you notice that a vending machine is out of order or the light doesn't work. By pushing the green information button you can as well receive information on schedules.
